16 September the year 1958. Jennifer Tilly was born in Los Angeles in extremely substandard circumstances. Her father was a car salesman, and her mother worked as a teacher. Jennifer was the second child in the family of four she was frequently at her mother's theater performance and very much impressed. Jennifer's parents separated when she was 5 years old. Jennifer spent the bulk of her childhood within British Columbia, after her mother moved there with her four kids. Jennifer did not appear to be a scholarly type, despite the fact that she was quite artistic as a child. In Canada she was the target of bullies frequently. When her passion for theater was fading, she began to participate in plays in support of her mother. Every child was encouraged by their mom to explore a passion for the arts.
